About the Blog

  1. Hi Zak. I appreciate this opportunity to encourage (and be encouraged) along the way. Remain strong!

  2. Thanks man! I appreciate it!

  3. Zak,

I read your bio and your article on the benefits of reading the Bible. Everything you have on the list is great. Your question, “How does studying your Bible help You?” is a good question. Of course the Bible helps me in all the ways you mention. The Holy Spirit, who is my Teacher, gives me new insights each time I read any scripture in any book, Old Testament or New. As we know God’s word is living and active as explained in Hebrews. The Holy Spirit glorifies Christ when I read God’s word. The reading of God’s word accomplishes things since God says He does not send His word forth without accomplishing the purpose for which He sent it. God’s word never returns to Him empty. His word comes to each Christian, fills him, empowers him, and returns to God our Father. I look forward to your next post.

    • Hey Robert,
Thank you so much for taking the time to comment not to mention reading some of my articles. I agree with you about inspiration from all parts of the Bible. I read through the Bible completely one time before I started this writing project, and I have to admit that I wasn’t too sure what I was going to do with Numbers and Leviticus. They are not the most exciting books, but I always found something that was exciting.
      -Zak

  4. Thank you for writing. This is very inspiring!

  5. Your dedication in this discipline is inspiring. Are you using a Study Bible that has extra reference information?

  6. Actually, it is a really cool software program called e-Sword. It is freely distributed, but it provides you with Strong’s numbers if you want them for translation purposes, and it is very easy to use. Thanks for commenting!
